The Hong Kong public healthcare service has long faced a shortage of healthcare workers. And there are two reasons behind it:

  1. HK PolyU is the only university in Hong Kong that provides courses in Nursing, Radiography and Physiotherapy.
  2. The medical passing grade is among the highest in Hong Kong education. Unable to meet the requirement is impossible to graduate.

Hong Kong PolyU produces only 60 medical graduates annually.

Meanwhile, the number of workers needed by the public healthcare way surpassed this figure. What should we do?

Fortunately for us, the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and the Associate Head of the School of Optometry of Hong Kong PolyU will be addressing this issue in our free webinar.
