The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is the diploma granted to secondary school graduates in the Canadian province of Ontario, part of a publicly funded, province-wide school system ranked Top-5 worldwide by PISA and OECD. The programme takes 7–10 months with quarterly start dates (January, April, July, October). All classes and assessments are conducted online — no need to travel to Canada until university entry.
How many subjects do I need for the OSSD?
The OSSD requires 30 credits in total, but university-bound students typically focus on completing the 6 required university-stream (U) credits in relevant subjects.
